The Dangerous Meadow Harbors Many Prey

Hunters of all sizes and Warriors use this area the most. The grass is tall and yellow offering lots of the necessary cover to hunt well. Many creatures weave their paths of life here. Beware of Lynx, and Bears, but look out for rabbits, mice, marmots, and spurs hens. This place can provide a fast meal, or your last meal.

FIERA

Fiera simply was too smart for all of this nonsense of 'submission' and 'worship' to a busted up wolf. She snorted as the 'almighty Kage' didn't even take a look down at her. She then saw a fluffy bandit nearby one of the wolves. Clearly, it was brave for approaching the wolves, but not even close to enough as Fiera had approached Raven. The Red Fox leaped elegantly through the air and landed in front of the fox {Tarnish}. "Good evening. I'm Fiera, a fellow fox of the forest. And who might you be, oh fluffy one?" Fiera thought twice about curling up with the fox - for she loved softness - but decided that would be too forward. Possibly threatning to her. Fiera could see this was a Spring Fox, who carried many lovely colors along their pelts. She smiled warmly, and flicked her whiskers forward as a sign of interest.

Raven stepped back as Fiera jumped on the smaller Spring fox and started to play and give introductions. She walked up and stood next to Raiden as Kage gave them instructions. She helped Raiden up as soon as the great wolf was out of sight. She nodded at his requests and proceed to follow them. She looked back at the assortment of canines. "You heard him." She said. "Raiden," she looked at him. "Will lead you all to the den." She looked at the assortment of them again. "I request two of you to come with me to the place of man to look for dogs. Does any of you wish to come with me?" She looked at the group, anxiously awaiting an answer. She wished to go and do this task quickly. If her party could travel quickly they could be to the place of man, with dogs in tow, and back within two or three days time.

Tarnish sat up to look at the larger Red Fox. "I'm Tarnish, yet you all have permission to call me Tear." She smiles and cocks her head slightly to enlighten the mood. She flicks her tail and peers behind her. Another shrew starred at her carefully but was spotted like a hawk would have from above. Tear's smile faded slightly and jumped to where the shrew was, landing on top of its frail body. It wriggles and soon stops from death. She carefully picks the shrew up and looks to Fiera. Tarnish was trying to aknowledge her for the offering. She was pleased to meet another fox such a herself and wanted to befriend Fiera. She sets the small offering forward to the fox and smiles again. The leaves crunch beneath Tarnish's paws/pads. The fresh scent fill her nostrils again and enlighten the ways to identify the lands they sit at now. She looks up to the fading light which lowers more by each passing minute...

FIERA

Fiera smiled again at Tear, then finally came upon her fur and swished her head. She sighed in relief, and gathered her senses. She shook her head happily, and looked up to Raven. "I will gladly accompany you on this journey to see the humans! I deeply despise them, but what's a little adventure do to anyone? I know it's a positive thing. I'm up for it, Raven." She nodded and winked at the tall female, then continued brushing the lovely fur, exploring it's lovely colors, and lovely feeling.

Maddox was torn as Raven proposed a quest. All he really wanted was food, but he didn't want to go back to the 'den' with the dreaded Raiden. There weren't nearly enough witnesses. "I'd be happy to accompany you both." The words were forced, though he tried to speak with some sincerity. He looked at the group of femmes waiting for someone to object. He wasn't necessarily hoping for his offer to be rejected, but he wasn't exactly appolled to go on some adventure unless there was food involved. Gosh, he would do anything for a bit of food at his lowest point though he wasn't one to beg under any circumstances.

Tarnish smiles again to the fox and back to the one by the name of Raven. "A journey, you say? I love them, perhaps I may join?" She questions the aquaintence as she is being inspected by her fellow fox. Her tail swishes slightly as excitement grows inside of her. Her ear twitches once then perks to the other wolf. {Maddox} She sighs that there are much/many wolves her yet few foxes. She nuzzles the side of Fiera to inspect her slightly as if foxes would nomally do. Her fluffy red, black, and white fur stands out to Tarnish, she's only been around pale toned foxes with few vivid colors. She looks back to Raven and smiles to wait for reply.

FIERA

Fiera smiled widely as she nuzzled through Tear's fur. She listened as she spoke, and perked her ears that she wanted to go as well. She stopped for a moment to nip under Tear's chin happily, and thought about something sincerely. Wow, Tear feels like a sister to me!, she thought. Fiera suddenly felt as if a heart had lifted into the air and landed above herself and Tear. She smiled, blinked, then curled into a ball next to Tarnish for a friendly nap. "Tell me when were all ready to go to the place..." She drifted off into her nap in happiness.

Tarnish smiles that she has a fellow fox friend. "Ok, Fiera. I'd be glad to awaken you for the journey." Tear has a friend now, hopefully more will be met along the ways of her new friends. Her smile stays on her small face as the larger fox curls up beside her. What would have happened to me if I didn't find these wolves and fox? Would I have died from the bears? The same thought floats in Tarnish's head and soon disappears into her mind as she lies down instead of sits. Her eyes dart around slightly to the other wolves. They seemed brave and proud to be here. The others such as prey seemed fearful of we creatures. (It's just from what Tarnish has seen in the Rp.)

Raven looked at the two eager foxes and the equally eager young wolf. It was hard for her to make a descion. "Maddox, come with me," she ordered sternly. "Foxes, I would prefer you to stay here and scout for more possible allies. It is a proud duty only of the small and swift of foot, such as you two." She looked at them, almost apologetically. She hurried to Raiden and talked with him quietly about her course of action and that Kage should be informed about her absence. She walked back to the wolf called Maddox, smacking his flank lightly with her tail. "Come Maddox," she said. "We have a long way to go." She looked towards the east, towards the land of man and started to run.

Tarnish nods and smiles faintly. "I shall tell Fiera once I awaken her." She says a bit loudly, yet gracefully. Her tail flicks and Tear nudges Fiera to awake her from her sleep. She always had respected those whom sleep, yet this time it had to be done. "Fiera? Are you awake?" Tear questioned the pardened fox. She looks around and sighs as the two wolves run off towards the journey spoken of. Tarnish patiently waits for Fiera to awaken from her voice and twitches her ear again.

Maddox smiled smugly as his offer was accepted. It wasn't originally ideal, but he got a certain satisfaction knowing that he had been accepted over the others. (JerkXD) he got up when Raven beckoned to him, sparing one last look back to the group of canids before starting at a steady lope after the black dire and into the awaiting darkness.

FIERA

Fiera slowly awoken from her lovely nap, and looked up - pretty much Tear's eye level - at Tarnish. She smiled sincerely, then nipped her ear playfully. "What happened while I was asleep?" Fiera tilted her head to the side, then swished her large tail above the only two foxes.

( Sorry this was so small, not much to talk about when your asleep. Fiera doesn't get weird dreams - yet. xD )

Tarnish looked to Fiera, now in front of her face. "Raven had taken Moddox on the journey. She told me to awaken you and say the word." Tear smile and gleamed above herself and Fiera, her friend's tail rising. Tear was smaller than the Red Fox, yet she didn't mind. Her own skills would ride her tasks as Tear is now part of the group. She smiled again and laughed at herself for being puny. Her senses were a bit more sensative after she heard the bears were scavenging more about. Her tail just flicks and brushes a moth away from her hind legs. Her ear twitches again and perks to the left, the moth flutters away silently from a predator of itself, a bird.

Sharon walked into clearing. "Hello?" She saw a few wolves doing their business. She walked by them, her legs feeling weak. She had been wandering around for many days now. She sat down, feeling tired.

Serenity was exhausted. She had been walking for three or four days, with little food, water, or rest. Up until those three or four days ago, the fae had lived in a constantly growing pack. It was her birth pack and, despite being three years old, she had chosen to remain there. However, the larger the population of the pack grew, the more uncomfortable Serenity felt. There were so many of her pack mates that were complete strangers to her. With her shy persona, this was next to unbearable. She would have much rather preferred a pack in which she was close to every one of it's members.

So Serenity had left, only alerting the select few that she knew well of her departure. She knew vaguely what she was looking for - a new pack that she would feel comfortable in, where everybody was family and knew each other.

But her search had proven to be a failure so far, having come across no other wolves whatsoever. It now seemed like a horrible idea altogether to have left her old pack as of now, what with an empty stomach and glazed-over eyes. Perhaps, Serenity thought, Perhaps I should just go back. It would be awkward, and not to mention embarrassing, but it was definitely better than starving to death.

Just as she was thinking about this, the faint sound of voices reached her eardrums, accompanied by the scent of other wolves of various species and. . .were those. . .fox scents? It certainly smelled like it. Curious, Serenity padded forward, hoping to catch a glimpse of the canids. And, after a minute or two of walking, her wish was granted. There, behind the patch of brush where she was temporarily hidden, was a group of wolves and a trio of foxes. Serenity held back a gasp, both excited and terrified. How would she approach the group? At the moment, she wasn't sure of whether she should approach them at all. Cautiously, she took a step forward. Then another, and then anoth- Crunch. Serenity winced as her paw came down on a twig. She hadn't been expecting that. As at least one canine turned their head towards her direction, she remained silent, waiting for the group to make the first move.

Sharon jumps when she hears the demanding voice. Her blue eyes widen, and her white fur pricks up when she sees the demanding male, but calms down when he explains apologetically. She looks around to find another female, nearby. "Please, I'm sorry, I did not mean to get into your territory. I have been all over the place, and...I just needed a place to rest. " She tries to explain to the male. She looked down at her paws and waited for his reaction.

"Who goes there?!"

Serenity jumped at the voice and instinctively shrunk back farther into the shadows. This already seemed to be a bad idea. When the brute asked a second time, she turned to run. However, she was interrupted by the sound of footsteps, and before she could react, the fae was pinned down. Serenity yelped in surprise. The black of the night obscured the face of her attacker, and all she could she was the silhouette of another wolf. Well, at least she knew it's species. And she also knew now that it was the one who had, just a moment ago, been calling her, as the same brute's voice boomed, "Who are you?!" White fangs now appeared, almost radiant in the night. All Serenity could do was open her mouth to speak, still in shock. A ray of moonlight shone in their direction, and suddenly, the male's face was visible.

"A female..."

Serenity gasped for air as the male stepped off of her and watched him bow before her. The fae figured that he had thought she was a brute as well and acted accordingly, but now that he realized he was mistaken, the bow was apologetic. The male asked for forgiveness, and she simply nodded.

"Now, May I ask what you are doing in our territory? You better have a pretty good explaination for trespassing. I do not wish to chase out such a beautiful and fragile lady, such as yourself".

Serenity's fear was slowly draining away with the Brute's change of tone. And when he finished his sentence with a compliment directed at her, she held back a giggle. But Serenity still had some explaining to do. "I apologize. I recently left my birth pack to search for a new place to call home - you and your acquaintances happened to be the only others I've come across so far. I suppose that walking for so long has left me so tired that I didn't pick up the scent of your territory. I'm glad that you do not wish to chase me out, but I will excuse myself from here if I must." Serenity waited for a reply, biting her lip.

Sharon heard the other female reply also. She glanced over to where her voice was coming from, but she couldn't make it out. She could tell the female was as surprised and nervous as her. She relaxed a bit, and walked a little forward, to see both of them better. She sat down in the meadow, and smiled a little.

FIERA

Fiera carefully patted her tail with her paw, and looked up to smile at Tarnish, indicating she was now awake. "Oh, ok. That is definetly fine with me. How long have I been asleep, Tear?" She tilted her head with a puzzled expression upon her muzzle, and shoved a bit closer to Tarnish. Fiera may have been asleep, missed some action, but she certainly did not forget dear Tarnish. Oh, what would have happened to me without this crazy crowd, she thought. Slowly, Fiera inched herself to her paws, and stretched her forepaws forward, her tail swung high above her head. Yawning, she sat in front of Tear for a conversation of what to do next.
