Misty Falls

This is a beautiful waterfall that opens up to Cotton Wood Creek, it is peaceful and quiet other than the sound of the waterfall, on sunny days, the mist from the falls will make a rainbow. Many strays come here to meditate or rest.

Alaska finally saw a dog that appeared sickly at the top of the waterfall "hello, who are you?!" she called with her loudest voice to the dog.

(I know, it's short)

"hey Lucas, beautiful isn't it?" she asked the wolf "I love this place ever so much!" she wagged her tail and looked at the beautiful landscape infont of her, she took a deep breath and let it out, filling her nose with great smells, she felt very comfortable here, then she spotted a rabbit and hunted it down after a little chasing "dinner for two?" she asked the brute with a big smile on her face.

Lucas

His lobes flicked to the question Alaska asked, still watching the waterfall he replied, "Yes its more beautiful then the meadows." He was dazzled by the beauty of the scenery, and felt somewhat calm and relaxed. When he heard Alaska speak again this time he turned around giving her his attention, he smiled back when he saw her with rabbits she had recently hunted down. "Oh wow, your always surprising me" said the male, chuckling lightly.

"people are always calling wolf dogs unpredictable, I guess they're right!" she laughed "want another surprise?" she giggled at the thought of how he'd probably react, then she walked over to a simple looking little plant about two feet away, looked at the the plant and then looked back at Luke.

"wait and see!" she said as she started digging at the roots of the plant until it could be easily pulled out, she yanked it gently and it popped out of the ground, exposing little, hard fruits, (peanuts) she nipped one off and bit it's center and the rough shell came off, exposing two brown seeds, she ate one and gave the other to Lucas "ta-da, try one they are good and very salty!" Alaska smiled.

Raven opened her eyes halfway when she heard the male speak. She smiled faintly as she listened to his words. "I always know where you are," she said softly. She chuckled quietly at his last remark. "Don't act so surprised." She licked his cheek when he nuzzled her neck. She cocked her ears sideways and wagged her tail over the rocky ground. She laid heavily against him. His bulk was slightly larger than her own and his back was higher. She shook her head, eyes half closed. His mane was thick and she buried her head in the thick red fur, taking in his scent in deep breaths. The roar of the water echoed throughout the cave in a dull roar. It was a comforting sound to her. She enjoyed it. She felt something stirring inside her as she lowered her head and laid down next to Raiden. She closed her eyes. For the first time in a long time, she felt safe....

"after my mother died, I relied on these to survive" she said looking at the rabbit and the shells of the peanut "want another" she said as she cracked open another one "so, how does Ken like it here? He seems to like Alba" she changed the subject "and also,how are you doing, do you like it here? Because when I found this pack, I knew I'd fit in!" she said with a now usual smile on her face, it seemed like ever since meeting Luke, she wasn't neer as touchy feely and sad, because now, she finally had a close friend that made her feel appreciated, special and different, and she liked that.

"I'm sorry to hear about your mother" "she was a good wolf, and now she can have rest" she said quietly "your quite an intelligent female, Alaska" Alaska blushed at these words "thanks, your obviously not lacking intelligence yourself" she chuckled, then nuzzled Lucas gently and a big smile spread across her face, she really liked this brute, then she looked up at the sky and noticed it was getting fairly late "it's getting dark! Should we go back to the den, or spend the night here?" she asked with concern.

Alaska smiled again "okay" she said and started waking back to the den

Raven slept for a while. She didn't think Raiden would sleep long or at all. So she slept lightly. She knew his nose was failing him. Even though he hadn't told her. It was sort of obvious to her since she had known him a long time. She would alert him if she smelled anything. She flicked an ear when she heard slight yips from the pups. They cut through the air sharply. She nuzzled her head in is mane and sighed softly. The roar of the waterfall was as comforting as the males heavy breaths. She wished it could stay like this forever....

Raven slept lightly for a long whole. "What has gotten into me?" She heard the male say. She smiled to herself and flicked back an ear to listen to him better. He remained silent and she shifted her body. After a short while of silence her eyes opened. She looked at the male with silver eyes. She looked through the curtain of water and she could see the pack from a far. They seemed fine and she laid back down.

As she came to the clearing with the Falls, she smiled, Alaska loved her great discovery, then she sat down near the edge of the river and closed her eyes, Alaska wanted to savor this wonderful moment, the sun barely up, the silvery mist, and the gorgeous waterfall- it was perfect.

"hey, um Luke, you know, I was wondering if, you know, Kenneth would like a mother" Alaska stammered, hinting slightly and hopefully to the brute, she felt that her words sounded quite awkward, and it embarrassed her a little.

Alaska didn't really know what to say or do, was she even ready for a family of her own? She remained silent, not knowing what would happen next....
